Product description You may think Olive Oil is just for cooking, but jam packed with nutrients, vitamins and fatty acids, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is perfect for your skin and hair too. It contains a high amount, around 62%, of the essential fatty acid Oleic Acid, an Omega 9 acid which makes this oil super moisturising, ideal for those with very dry skin. The oil penetrates deeply into the skin and is known to provide a shield against the elements. It absorbs at a fairly slow rate so is ideal for those requiring intensive moisturisation. Indications All vegetable oils and fats are 100% fat and are generally high in calories (on average about 120 calories per tablespoon) and are often used in food preparation for dressings, cooking, frying, baking, sauces and marinades. Generally, virgin/unrefined oils have more of the oil?s natural flavour and lend themselves well for use in cold dishes. Refined oils generally have longer shelf lives and a higher smoke point which is better for high heat cooking, but this varies depending on the type of oil Ingredients Olive Oil Directions Use as a gentle and effective cleanser and make-up remover. Warming the oil, helps it to penetrate the hair strand but make sure it?s not too hot, you don?t want to burn yourself. Massage the warmed oil into your hair and scalp and comb it through.
